Our Winter Book Club selection is, Pericles (The Oxford Shakespeare Edition) and specifically the Reprint Edition by Gary Taylor from 2008.
"This edition offers a conjectural reconstruction of what the play might have been like in actuality." With lots of footnotes. We'll start with weekly emails on January 4th, with the final Zoom on March 14th or 15th. We will read each act aloud via Zoom. It's great fun but there is no pressure to perform.

Fun reading on whether or not George Wilkins co-wrote Act 1 & 2 of Pericles or if it was perhaps written much earlier than 1609 (in the 1580's).
